Augmented Reality Tees
2010/04/12If you are planning on attending this year's Skol Sensation Electronic Music event in São Paulo, Brazil, expect to run into some very cool Augmented Reality (AR) experimentation by YDreams. To do so you'll need an AR Tee, encoded with special markers. The tees (see adjacent image) can be picked up at designated shopping centers in São Paulo (city) or at the actual event.
AR-Tee wearing party goers will be able to see the markers on their shirts turn into animated virtual beings on a huge screen projection during the event. Those sporting the tees will appear in the projection alongside new virtual buddies that they can play and interact with. For a preview have a look at the YouTube video.
