"Impressive... Most impressive" (sic Darth Vader)

Technology wise it's great to see a powerful and sophisticated platform such as YVision work on an entry level notebook. I can see many couch potatoes just grinning at the mere thought of controlling one's media center without having to use the remote, just gestures.

One a more serious note, the potential for applications is immense, either in games and applications. Think PowerPoint presentations that can be controlled by the speaker without physical input and that can interact with the audience, so many possibilities.

Really exciting, congratulations.

No, we aren’t planning on developing games and other apps specifically for the Magalhães netbook. We chose Magalhães as a good example of how an extremely sofisticated and versatile platform such as YVision, could run so smoothly on a smaller, less powerful netbook.

The fist app reminds me of the 1999 Interactive Installation "Text Rain" by Camille Utterback and Romy Achituv. http://www.camilleutterback.com/textrain.html

Are you guys actively developing 'games' and other sort of apps specifically for this 'plataform' Magalhães? I can see it already "Game Developed for Magalhães" or "Magalhães Software" .. actually, now that I think about it, it isn't that strange that you are actually developing apps and games for it, as we are talking about a machine with standard specs across the line, cheap and sponsored by the state and the word-of-the-mouth atm and we are talking a potential market of thousands of people. :O
